The Water Terrace at Blenheim Palace was built in the late 1920s and features a scale model of Bernini’s Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of the Four Rivers) in Rome. The design of the water terrace was in part inspired by Louis XIV’s Parterre d’Eau (water parterre) in the royal gardens of Versailles in France.
